Yassss! Summer 2016, while it’s not quite over, it has been completely awesome. My trip (with bae) to Madrid, Spain is one I’ll never forget 😜. From the lovely summer heat of the city to the exquisite views of both modern and ancient buildings…everything was beyond breathtaking.
Our hotel was conveniently located in the heart of the city. We were within walking distance of the Royal Palace, Principe Pio (shopping centre), Parque de la Montaña and Plaza de España.
On our first day, we decided to get to know our immediate environment, so, we took a walk to the near by park – Parque de la Montaña and Plaza de España. The park is set on a hill so we could see the beautiful city as the sun set…beyond beautiful.
On the second day we took a walk to Principe Pio mall and our adventure for the third day was a walk to the Royal Palace of Madrid. On our fourth day we went on a tour of the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, home to Real Madrid and then we went on a tour of the ancient city of Madrid (they have two tours, ancient and modern).
On our fifth and final day, we went to a theme park, parque de Atracciones. While I’m not normally one for crazy rides, I was even more excited than bae this time. By my second ride I was turned all the way up and itching for more. It was epic beyond words.
